Beta Gamma Sigma Inducts 58 New Members in 2025 Ceremony

Beta Gamma Sigma, a prestigious international business honor society housed in the Poole College of Management, hosted its 2025 induction ceremony on April 1. This year’s inductees include 58 undergraduate and graduate students as well as four faculty members who will serve as the chapter’s advisors.
“Beta Gamma Sigma inductees are impressive: so intelligent, gifted and energetic,” said Karlyn Mitchell, associate professor of finance and NC State Beta Gamma Sigma chapter advisor. “They will significantly impact the businesses where they work and the communities where they live. Celebrating their academic successes at the induction ceremony with family and friends was delightful. Congratulations, Beta Gamma Sigma inductees!”
Poole College Dean Frank Buckless echoed this sentiment in his remarks at the event, saying, “This recognition is not only a testament to your hard work and dedication
but also reflects your commitment to academic excellence.
“This year alone,” he continued, “we received over 8,300 applications for approximately 550 undergraduate spots, highlighting the exceptional talent and dedication of our students.”
“This recognition is not only a testament to your hard work and dedication
but also reflects your commitment to academic excellence.”
